I have to consider myself lucky. I work for a company (Vertex Inc) that allows local staff to work from home up to 3 days a week. This was one of my days to work from home and with a TD passing through it worked out well. Where I lived was windy and wet, no more so than a typical FL thunderstorm but at my office it was pretty nasty. They where hit by one of the bad storm bands that passed through the area. Everyone was OK, but is was not pleasant to go through. So I got to avoid the journey to work, the weather at the office and wondering what was happening back at home. Instead I had live feeds on my office TV, radar on my personal laptop and still managed to put a full days work in and not forgetting our CEO sent an email out (from our home office outside Philly) stating they where thinking about us. Sometimes, no matter what work can be like, you have to appreciate what you have.
